Sarah Jordan Jewellery

Sarah Jordan trained as a silversmith at Middlesex University. Her flare and enthusiasm for the subject meant that she stayed on and lectured in the subject once her studies had finished.

Her first commercial creative job as a jewellery designer was for a London based company, where she worked for 2 years. During this period, she trained herself in all aspects of jewellery production, from design concept through to the completion of the finished pieces. In 1986 she set up her own jewellery label.

Sarah spent 3 months designing her first collection of mens contemporary jewellery and honing her signature style ofsilver cufflinks. She drew inspiration from many of the shapes throughout nature and maintained the excellent level of quality in every piece she produced.

By 1999, Sarah’s business had outgrown her Hatton Garden workshop and moved to a contemporary design studio and workshop in North London. The Japanese inspired glass building is built around a secluded central courtyard, which provides a peaceful oasis where creativity can flourish. During this period, Sarah’s design philosophy “To not only design sensual and innately beautiful pieces, but to create jewellery that is imbued with my love of life and possesses a spirit and integrity that invigorates and inspires the wearer” has brought her industry acclaim and prestigious awards including winner of the UK jewellery designer of the year award 2000, the UK Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2003/04 and Platinum Design Innovation Award 2004.

Today Sarah’s Jewellery is sold throughout the UK, Europe and Japan. Her distinctive signature style is loved the world-over and enjoyed by people who share her passion for life and design.
