Anglomania 2006 at the New York Metropolitan Museum

The most talked about exhibition of 2006 is Anglomania at the New York Metropolitan Museum which opened on 4th of May and is set to until 4th September.

Anglomania is all about Tradition and Transgression in British Fashion presented as an unprecedented selection of designs from 1976 to 2006 a period of astounding creativity and experimentation by the most innovative and influential designers working in Britain today. Sponsored by Perles de Tahiti and Signity at Swarovski, Shaun Leane specially created two bespoke brooches for Sarah Jessica Parker and Alexander McQueen for the evening (pictured).

Mens Contemporary Jewellery Designer Shaun Leane exhibited alongside Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry Prorsum, Hussein Chalayan and Phillip Treacy.

Rose Marie Bravo, Chief executive of Burberry hosted an evening in celebration of Anglomania prior to the event, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller, Christopher Bailey, Creative Director of Burberry and Anna Wintour, Editor-in chief of Vogue as co-hosts.
